			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>If you want to get rid of fatyou&#8217;ll have to want it and I mean really want it, it just wont do to go into this  thing with a half pie attitude of &#8216;we will see&#8217;.  This will get you absolutely no where and lets face it  &#8216;we will see&#8217; means I do not really believe that I can do this,  I do not have what it takes, so why really bother.   </p>
<p>The above is like the teachings of &#8216;the secret&#8217; and &#8216;Dale Carnegie&#8217;, we get exactly what we expect. If we expect to get rid of our excess fat that is exactly will happen.</p>
<p>The three main areas to focus on  on in getting rid of that fat forever. (With everything in life, success is usually down to three things)</p>
<p>Preparation<br />Planning &#038;<br />Execution </p>
<p>Preparation<br />Treat it like a battle and prepare mentally for one, you will need to become stubborn  and resolute  in not letting anything get in your way of your pursuit in getting rid of that fat forever.  This time to being absolutely 100% committed to changing your lifestyle because that iswhat is needed, to get this thing done and this time no yo-yo&#8217;s this time it will be different, this time it is going to be long lasting. Prepare a list of the obstacles you faced last time, here is my list.</p>
<p>Saboteur&#8217;s<br />Family<br />Restaurants<br />Work<br />Holiday Season<br />laziness</p>
<p>What I did to combat this, is I wrote my list as above and thought of all the ways that the things on my list had got in the way in the past and at first I was livid, boy was I angry.   Then I thought of ways to  defeat everything that they could possibly throw  at me. Each answer of dealing with a situation became my armor.  Guess what happened, my preparation paid off and I achieved my goals. Friends (saboteur&#8217;s) even told me they admired how strong I had become and they even sort my advice without any prompting on my part, which was really fantastic</p>
<p>Planning<br />Listen up and Listen well you will quadruple your results if you write down your plan and implement it without deviating.</p>
<p>Write out the following sub headings and then write your plan under each sub heading, in a note book</p>
<p>goals<br />weight<br />measurements<br />exercise regime / schedule</p>
<p> Use another note book for a food diary, here you will write down everything that you eat and drink throughout the day.  It is important to do it after each meal, not at the end of the day.  You have another job at the end of the day and that is to go through your food diary with a calorie counter ( a small book with the calorie count of each food item listed) which is available from most good book stores.  Add up the total and check that you are on target. Look at the foods you have eaten and astrix anything that fell into the naughty category. Please do not feel too bad as it happens to the best of us, use it as a tool to keeping on track in getting rid of that fat forever.</p>
<p>Execution<br />Results are strictly equal to the effort you put in here, if you do not put in the effort the only person that you are fooling is yourself, what price can you put on happiness, it is the one true commodity that is priceless, you know I am right!<br />Stick to your plan, there really is no excuse for missing out a workout, I find that when I feel too tired to carryout my exercise program and drag myself out of bed I usually end up having the best workout and feel full of energy after wards.</p>
<p>If you have scheduled a gym session at 1 pm, go and do it at that scheduled time, have your gear prepared the night before, I forgot my running shoes, please! (refer to para one).</p>
<p>Once again, write down all your completed exercise sessions, this information will become invaluable for further planning and assessing your progress.</p>
<p>So if you want to get rid of Fat, get serious, get real and take the time to prepare, plan and execute.  The results will be, you feeling and looking the part of a winner and you are.</p>

We live in a world of paradoxes. Some of us have so much to eat, while others are fated to remain hungry for days! Obesity has spiraled astronomically in the years close to the 21st century. As a matter of fact, the number of obese adults jumpstarted from 200 million in 1995 to 300 million in 2000. This only shows how a fast paced and &#39;easy&#39; lifestyle is contributing to the obesity level. In this article I will tell you how acupuncture weight loss can help you shed some pounds.</p>
<p>Most people are very skeptic about Chinese treatments, and even I didn&#39;t believe it when I heard about it for the first time. Then when I researched it a little deep I found ample evidence to believe that acupuncture weight loss has indeed worked for many people! Here are four ways to ensure that you too can use it to your best advantage:</p>
<p>1. Avoid Hyped Medicines: There are a lot of Chinese medicines which sell mainly on hype and have no real value. Avoid those medicines because they will do nothing except waste your money. Instead find a professional Chinese medical practitioner in your area and have a consultation with him regarding suitable treatments. There are some herbalists in the Western countries who can be good substitutes to a Chinese medical practitioner.</p>
<p>2. Create a plan: Consult with your acupuncturist while creating a weight loss plan, and more importantly, try to stick to it. Make sure you also include exercises in that plan; you may need to consult with your fitness trainer for this purpose. Even though you should try hard to go by your plan, don&#39;t be too rigid either; allow yourself some space otherwise you will end up getting bored. If you fail to abide by your plan, don&#39;t beat your head against the wall; instead, promise to do better next time. </p>
<p>3. Eat less: You can lose weight successfully only by burning more calories than you consume. You can do this by eating low-calorie food and exercising regularly. Eat low-fat and low-calorie food products and avoid dairy products at all costs! Make sure you exercise for at least half-an-hour to an hour per day; this is the surefire way to burn calories quickly!</p>
<p>4. Join a support forum: You can find many weight loss forums online where you can join for free! These forums consist of members who are in the same shoes are you; they are all obese and trying hard to lose weight. There might also be a few members who have successfully made it to the slim figure. Nothing beats the positive feedback you will get from your forum friends; it will motivate you to stick with your weight loss program.</p>

Your job is to weed out those negative thoughts from your mind and replace them with positive ones. I know that doing so is not so easy as it sounds, but then again, if you want to reach a destination very badly, it is not impossible either! <p>When you launch your weight loss program your mind will become preoccupied with thoughts such as &#39;I can never be slim&#39;, &#39;I am not meant to lose weight&#39;, &#39;I hate to do exercises&#39;, etc. Instead of being cowed down by such thoughts, you need to fight them! If these negative throughs keep you from reaching your weight loss goal, you are not alone! Most people fail to lose weight because they start with a negative mindset; instead of thinking what will happen once they lose weight, they think about what MIGHT happen if they don&#39;t! But then again, some of these people actually end up losing weight, when they decide to fight with these negative thoughts, when they realize that they deserve to lead a healthy life as much as others, when they realize that they can lose weight only by harboring positive thoughts in their mind. </p>
<p>In order to harbor positive thoughts in your mind, you need to think about the future: about the kind of life you will lead once you lose weight. For example, when you become slimmer, you will get rid of a host of diseases, appear sexier and achieve an increase in virility, or maybe that you will feel more comfortable with yourself, etc. Take a paper and pen and write down the reasons behind your desire to lose weight, and then stick it on the wall so that you can see it everyday! This way it will be easier for you to grab your negative thoughts by both hands and throw them out!</p>
<p>It is a fact that most of us know how to lose weight but very few of us actually make the necessary efforts to put that knowledge into action because we don&#39;t have the mental strength needed to achieve our goals. Once we start making an effort towards the achievement of a goal, we tend to get overpowered by demons such as anger, sadness and depression. Once you get control of your life and weed out those negative thoughts, you will see that losing weight is much more easier than you think!</p>

In this article I will share with you five unconventional weight loss ideas that have worked for my friends.</p>
<p>1. Smell your Food: Most people don&#39;t even know about it, but the fact remains that if you smell your food for a long time, you will be able to suppress virtually half of your appetite. As for the other half, well you can easily combat it by eating your food slowly. Eating slowly not only helps you digest your food more easily, but also helps to kill your appetite, because your brain tends to think that you have eaten a lot of food when in reality you might have eaten only half that amount! Great way to suppress your appetite without using any of those weight loss supplements.</p>
<p>2. Eat foods of the same flavor: If your dinner is composed of foods of different aroma, you are likely to gorge on all of them and overeat, thereby increasing your calorie intake. However, if you eat foods of the same flavor, you will pretty soon become bored with it and leave the dinner table sooner than you realize! This is a great way to cut down on food intake without any feeling of deprivation!</p>
<p>3. Exercises: You might be aware of the fact that exercise is the key to losing weight successfully by burning off calories, but most people cannot simply find time for their workouts. This problem becomes non-existent if you do high intensity exercises that burn off more fat in less time; in this way you won&#39;t have to spend a long time in exercising. Studies have pointed out that one can lose far more weight by doing weight lifting, sprinting or resistance training for a short time than by walking or jogging for a much  longer time -you may or may not believe it but this is a fact! High intensity exercises typically use up more energy than others, and the more energy you use the more fat your body will burn!</p>
<p>4. Sleep adequately: Late night projects or jobs that require you to burn the midnight oil might not be fit for you if you are looking forward to losing your pounds. People who don&#39;t sleep adequately gain more weight than others.</p>
<p>5.  Eat spicy foods: You might have been forbidden by your doctor from eating spicy foods. Well, if you are looking forward to losing eight, then you need to reverse the rule by eating more and more spicy foods. Spice increases your metabolic rate like nothing else, and as you might know, increasing your metabolic rate is the sure shot way to fast weight loss. Not only that, spicy foods also immunizes you against several harmful disease such as diabetes, heart disease as well as Alzheimer&#39;s disease. </p>
<p>If you follow these simple five tips I have no doubt you will be able to lose weight pretty fast!</p>

You might be wondering how a single journey can have so many different destinations, but it is a fact that in case of a weight loss journey, the type of destination you reach will depend on the type of person you are and the way you approach your weight loss program. In this article I will give four tips that will help you lose weight if you haven&#39;t already!</p>
<p>1. Before jumping into any weight loss program, make sure you take your doctor&#39;s advice. Different weight loss programs can recommend you different types of medications and if you suffer from some health-related problem then certain medicines can have adverse impact on your health.</p>
<p>2. Don&#39;t do crash dieting: Crash dieting is probably the worst thing you can do for your body. When you start crash dieting, your body senses that you are going to kill it; obviously it will take all the necessary steps to save itself. In order to save itself, your body tends to store fat instead of burning it. So, when you stop crash dieting and return to normal mode of eating, you will notice that you have gained back all the weight you had lost, plus some more as a bonus!</p>
<p>3. Try to eat more fruits and vegetables: Try to incorporate as much fruits and vegetables as you can into your diet, because they can help you lose pounds in several ways. First of all, they contain all the nutrients that your body needs, secondly they are low on calorie, and thirdly, when you digest them, they use up a lot of your body&#39;s energy! Obviously, the more energy you use, the more fat your body will burn in order to produce even more energy!</p>

In this article I will tell you everything about how to create a weight loss plan the &#39;easy&#39; way!</p>
<p>1. Okay, first of all, ask yourself why you want to lose weight. There are many reasons why people want to lose weight. Some people would want to lose weight so that can fit into their old trousers or jeans; others do it to look and feel good; some others do it because they have heard about a lot of health issues associated with obesity. What about you? This is the first step towards the creation of a successful weight loss goal. Once you know why you want to achieve a goal, success becomes easier!</p>
<p>2. Create the goal: Now it is time for you to create the weight loss goal itself. Decide how much weight you want to lose each day! Do you want to shed sixty pounds in a month? Is that viable? Don&#39;t make unrealistic goals because you will never be able to achieve them. If in doubt, consult your friends and try to know about realistic weight loss goals. </p>
<p>3. Once you have created a goal, it is time to create a workable plan through which you intend to achieve your goal. If need be, don&#39;t hesitate to consult your doctor on this matter; even better, ask him to create the plan for you! How you want to achieve your goal is what your weight loss plan is all about. Below I give you three pointers that will help you here:</p>
<p>A) Losing weight by eating less: It is easier said than done, but if you have decided to lose weight this way, it is not impossible either! Decide on what you will need to achieve this end. For example, you will need appetite suppressants that will save you from hunger pangs resulting from reduction in food intake.</p>
<p>B) Losing weight by eating healthier foods: Replacing the fatty foods with their low-calorie counterparts is the surefire way to lose weight. If you eat snacks every evening, why not replace it with fruits and vegetables? If you drink a large bowl of chocolate soup every night, it is time to stop that practice and eat carrots and other vegetables instead! These healthy substitutes would help you reach your weight loss goals faster! </p>
<p>C) Losing weight by exercises: While exercises entail a lot of hard work, it is actually easier to lose weight by doing exercise if you are disciplined enough! Exercise actually has a dual function: on one hand it helps you lose weight by burning your body fat; on the other, it helps you build muscles so that you can burn fat even when you are resting (because muscles increase a person&#39;s metabolic rate considerably). </p>
<p>Choose workouts that you can do at home, in front of your TV. Don&#39;t be too hard on yourself &#8211; start by doing exercises for one hour each day, and do your workouts every other day.  It is stupid to think that you can workout everyday; you will pretty much get tired by your workout sessions that way! Give yourself  a break, and you will see that exercises are not as hard as you used to think!</p>
<p>Visit your local library and browse books, manuals and CD-ROMs on different types of exercises. Listen to audio tapes. Consult with your doctor as well as a professional fitness trainer. This would help you in creating a solid exercise plan!</p>

As a matter of fact, weight loss is all about finding a suitable plan for yourself and then working according to it, but too often, people make the mistake of searching for a &quot;perfect plan&quot; which would make them lose weight without either diet and exercise. Unfortunately, no weight loss program is perfect. In this article I will tell you about a weight loss program that I am sure will work for you as well as for everyone else!</p>
<p>Before choosing any weight loss program, you need to be 100% honest with yourself and ask yourself some questions. I&#39;d ask you to write on a sheet of paper all about how much you eat daily and how often, whether you exercise or not, whether you eat junk foods and calorie-rich snacks, etc. Once you&#39;ve answered these questions honestly, you will get a clearer picture of your eating habits as well as what you need to change in order to lose weight.</p>
<p>One thing that people often forget to make is a food plan. Write what you&#39;d be eating throughout the week, then shop accordingly. If you don&#39;t do this you are more likely to grab the junk foods when there is nothing nutritious at home. Plan your office lunch as well. Make sure you take only healthy foods for your office lunch and stay away from the &#39;forbidden foods&#39; that are rich in fat and calorie and contribute to nothing other than fat!</p>
<p>If the number of obese adults has increased in America over the recent years, there has also been a parallel growth in the number of people who diet. Dieting is probably the worst thing you can do to your body! Most diet programs recommend foods that are low on carbs. While this may sound good at start and you may be able to lose a few pounds in the beginning, be warned that these are the foods that are low on nutrition as well. By living on a low-carb diet, you are depriving your body of the essential nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates that it needs in order to function properly. On another level, when you deprive yourself of foods, you start to crave for them after a certain period of time. Food cravings lead to cheating and binge eating. You may fool yourself into believing that you won&#39;t ever eat the &#39;forbidden foods&#39; except once, but slowly and surely, binge eating will turn into a habit and you will find that over time you have gained more weight than what you started with! </p>
<p>A better formula is to concentrate on raw foods and vegetables. Not only they are low on fat and carbohydrates, they also provide your body with all the necessary nutrients. Plus they are easy to digest. Also don&#39;t forget to drink a sufficient amount of water everyday. Water will fill your stomach and prevent you from over eating. An adult should drink at least eight glasses of water per day, and don&#39;t forget to drink a glass of water before and after your dinner!</p>
